The mission of the City of River Rouge Personnel Department is to support and strengthen the City’s workforce by promoting fairness, professionalism, accountability, and excellence in public service. Under the leadership of Director Lisa K. Givens, the department is committed to attracting, developing, and retaining qualified employees who are dedicated to serving the residents of River Rouge with integrity and respect. The Personnel Department administers hiring, employee relations, benefits coordination, policy compliance, and workforce development in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
