The River Rouge Historical Museum will be open this Sunday from noon until 4:00 PM. Visitors are welcome to explore exhibits highlighting the city's maritime and industrial heritage.
Belanger Park remains open daily for residents and visitors. The boat launch, walking paths, and picnic areas are available throughout the week.
The next City Council meeting will be held Tuesday evening March 17, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the River Rouge Civic Center. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in the public comment portion of the meeting.
One Detroit Credit Union is coming to River Rouge City Hall in 2026. From Mayor William L. Campbell River Rouge seniors are invited to a St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at the River Rouge Senior Center, 10625 W. Jefferson Ave. Doors open at 11:00 AM and lunch is served at 12:00 PM. Please RSVP for lunch and transportation by contacting Olive Roberts at (313) 842-3360.
